About Us.
The Sikh Awareness Society is a UK registered charity that aims to:
- Support victims of severe abuse including sexual abuse, grooming, domestic violence, alcohol and drug abuse
- Protect & educate the public about abuse through a range of seminars, talks and events
We were established in 1998 in the UK to help the Sikh community discuss abuse, a taboo subject. Over the years, we’ve recognised that abuse doesn’t discriminate by ethnicity, age or gender. We therefore expanded our support to all backgrounds and ethnicities, so that we can help as many people as we can.
Please contact us on a 24-hour phone line if you have a serious query you wish to discuss. For general enquiries, please contact us via the form on the Contact Us page.
