The Sikh Awareness Society was established in 1998 to support victims of severe abuse, from all backgrounds and ethnicities. We aim to educate the general public and protect the vulnerable.
Our volunteers deliver courses and seminars on abuse in educational insitutions, religious places of worship and on TV. In 2013, we featured in a BBC Inside Out documentary on sexual grooming which aired on national TV.
Our goal is to strengthen families, protect future generations and empower survivors to become thrivers.
